The overview

What it is, and why it matters.

A paver patio is only as good as what is under it. We excavate to the right depth, compact a graded stone base in lifts, screed a clean bedding layer, lay the pavers in your chosen pattern and lock them in with edge restraints and polymeric sand. That is the difference between a patio that stays flat and one that ripples in three years.

In Nashville and across Middle Tennessee we build patios, terraces and outdoor rooms in clay brick, concrete pavers and natural stone, planning slope for drainage and adding seat walls, steps, fire features and lighting where you want them.

Good questions

Brick & Paver Patios: common questions

Brick pavers or concrete pavers?

Clay brick pavers hold color for decades and age beautifully. Concrete pavers are budget-friendly and come in many shapes. We show samples of both.

How long does a paver patio last?

With a proper base and edge restraints, patios commonly last 25 years or more. A little re-sanding every few years keeps the joints tight.
