Masonry needs time to cure. We usually recommend a few days to a couple of weeks before the first small fire, then slowly larger ones. We give you written guidance.
Can a masonry fireplace burn gas?
Yes. We can build it gas-ready or install a gas log set or burner with a code-compliant shutoff and a safe damper position.
